CAPACITY BUILDING SECTOR PROJECTS INFORMATION
- SEDO's experience
SEDO support the local community, authorities and civil society organizations by providing capacity building for them including curriculum design, providing different training subjects, in-kind support, coaching, and consultations to enable them.
SEDO has mostly activities inside most projects related to the capacity builidng for the community, CSOs, and local authorities, also SEDO implement about (4) pure capacity builidng projects and (9) multi-sectoral projects.
- Target Groups and locations:
local authorities, local communities, and local civil soceity organizations and target them in Salahaddin, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Anbar, Basras, and Diyala provinces
- Nature of Activities:
SEDO has qualified staff and contractors to provide capacity building for local authorities in different technical sectors and development to enable them providing best services for the vulnerable and marginalized groups, the training topics are strategic thinking and planning, Quality Assurance and Quality Check, Managing tenders, risk management, key performance indicators, Communication and negotiation skills, environmental safety analysis managing contractual disputes and arbitration, project planning and scheduling, Media and public relations in government institutions, technical and economic feasibility studies, fraud prevention and detection skills, and others
