In December of 2021, SEDO conducted an evaluation to find all the health centers that cover the targeted informal settlements areas in order to coordinate these HCs and identify the number of diarrhea cases for each HCs.
The directors of HCs refused to cooperate with us until obtaining approval from the MoH. For that SEDO started coordination with MoH to get formal approval, in March 2022, SEDO got the approval from MoH and then started coordinating with DoH in Kirkuk to deliver (10,000) water purification tablets and brochures to distribute to target HCs that they register the highest number of diarrhea cases.
SEDO designed and delivered brochures to DoH in order to distribute these brochures to beneficiaries to know how to use these tablets.
Also, SEDO designed and delivered distribution list forms, then DoH will deliver these forms to HCs in order to register the beneficiaries who will get these tablets and brochures.
