SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER (SBDC) SECTOR PROJECTS INFORMATION
- SEDO's experience
SEDO has four Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) in Iraq covering four governorates in Iraq. These SBDCs are part of SBDCs network established and funded by USAID in Iraq.
SEDO consider these centers are oldest and most importnat to achieve the SEDO’s vission and mission.
- Target Groups and locations:
Unemployment, employers, Businessmen/women, and entrepreneurs and target them in Salahaddin, Nineveh, Kirkuk and Diyala provinces
- Nature of Activities:
SEDO provide wide small business activities through the SBDCs including SMEs start-up and development training, marketing studies, micro grant and micro loans, access to finance, feasibility studies, business plans, investment opportunities mapping, business agendas, business studies, and others
